“She Persisted” Pendant Kickstarter Campaign
Building on the success of the “She Persisted” enamel pins, I launched a Kickstarter campaign to create a more affordable version of the design as pendants. This project was driven by numerous requests from backers who wanted to wear the symbol as jewelry, and I was excited to bring this idea to life.
The campaign featured pendants in multiple finishes, including rose gold, black enamel with silver, and 14K gold plating, as well as sterling silver options. Each pendant mirrored the design of the enamel pins, with subtle modifications to include loops for chains. To accommodate backer preferences, I offered two reward options: one with an 18” stainless steel rolo chain in coordinating finishes and another without a chain for those who preferred custom lengths or materials.
The project also included a limited-edition option for 14K gold and black enamel pendants handmade by a production partner in Boston, MA. This blend of affordability and artisanal craftsmanship allowed me to cater to a wide range of backer needs while maintaining the high quality that had become a hallmark of the “She Persisted” brand.
To ensure timely delivery for the holiday season, the campaign was intentionally short and focused. Despite the tight timeline, I maintained transparency with backers, providing regular updates and addressing potential challenges such as manufacturing timelines and international shipping complexities.
This campaign demonstrated my ability to adapt to backer feedback, manage a fast-paced project, and maintain the quality and authenticity of the “She Persisted” brand. By offering thoughtfully designed rewards and engaging directly with the community, I successfully expanded the reach of a design that continues to resonate deeply with supporters.
